Hi, Andy. Can you tell me if the 2 hour’s ride is one way or is the whole thing?

    Thanks

I’m sad to say that I’ve had a nasty cough for a couple of weeks and am not as recovered as I thought, so I won’t be cycling again for a while. Mike will join you anyway. Enjoy your outing… I miss the cycling in the group

    Hi, Andy et al

I agree that tomorrow’s weather doesn’t look good. Mike and Ican do Friday the 16th but we go to Mass at 10 and leave at 10.30 so we could meet the group somewhere.

I hope your eye op goes well, Derek. My brother in law had one done on Friday and it’s been brilliant! See you in November. Maggi

That looks like a good ride, Andy, and it’s great that the ferry is running again but sadly Mike and I won’t be able to make it. We have to go to a funeral.

That looks good but I don’t recommend the café at Keydell. If possible it would be better to eat in Rowlands Castle.

That looks good. Mike and I will be there, at the Spring.

The weather forecast is for rain most of the day so unless it is looking a lot better first thing Mike and I won’t be cycling tomorrow, sadly. Maggi

I would like to meet the other riders at the café in Petersfield at about 11, depending on the trains.

We manage to survive in Portsmouth, Bob! There are lots of safe cycle ways. Looking forward to the ride.

Thank you for all these options, Andy. Personally I favour Number 3 with the chance to decide on the return route on the day.

Thanks, Andy. I prefer option 3 for a change, including 2 ferries. I would also suggest that Mike and I meet you at the Eastney end of the Hayling ferry at 10.43. We have happily supported the Hayling ferry several times since it re-started.

Mike and I are celebrating our wedding anniversary so won’t be joining the U3A on this occasion! I also hope we shall be able to use the ferry next month! Can’t wait
