Welcome

Welcome

Welcome to the Hayling Island u3a web site. As part the UK-wide u3a network, we help our members make the most of life by exploring new ideas, skills and interests, staying active, and having fun.

Membership is open to all adults. It’s local, social, friendly and, being run by the membership, it is low-cost. Most of our activities take place during the week .

Come join our many members, share your skills with others, take up something new and develop your interests in a friendly atmosphere. Learn, Laugh, Live!

We have more than 50 groups for different activities including:

  • Literature and reading
  • Arts and craft
  • Board and card games
  • Musical groups
  • Outdoor physical activities
  • Monthly talks
  • Visits...

... and we are always looking to expand our activities. Let us know if you have an idea for a new group.

You can see a full list of our current groups here and the same list by activity here. Some of our groups are full but we are always keen to set up additional groups with the same subject if there are several members interested.

If you're interested in a group that's full, its main page allows you to register your interest even if you are not a U3A member.

Click/tap here if you'd like to join us.

At our next monthly meeting on 19th March at 2pm, Richard Coates will describe Hayling's contribution in both WW1 and WW2. Everyone welcome, non-members pay £2 which is refunded if you join on the day. More details here.

Hayling u3a memberships are due for renewal on 1st April. The fee remains at £15 for full membership and £10 for associates. You can renew now (for yourself and another member) here now.
