Most of those on the ride want to take the train to Petersfield and cycle back from there. We’ll meet at HIADS at 10am as usual and take a leisurely ride to Havant station. We’ll catch the 11.04 from Havant arriving in Petersfield at 11.17 (we tried to catch the 10.40 before – and failed).

Note that groups of three or more can save one third the ticket price by travelling on a Group Saver ticket.

I plan to cycle – rather than train – to Petersfield with Malcolm and Debbie and anyone else that would like to join us (let me know if that’s you).

The two groups will meet at the Cloisters cafe in the South East corner of the square in Petersfeld.

We’ll meet at the ferry 10.40 on the Hayling side or a few minutes later on the Portsmouth side.

As things stand, the only preferences stated have been for Stokes Bay. So we’ll head off in that direction and review when we get to Portsmouth.

I’ve heard directly from Carol and it seems we have a consensus to cycle out to Chichester and see who wants to do what when we get there.

We’ll leave from HIADS at 10 as usual and pick up Mike at the Spring around 10.30 (Martine is away this week so can’t make it).

    See you there,

Perhaps we could do Chichester the other way around: cycle there and those that want can get the train back?

That would save the hassle of trying to meet up in Chichester.

Given the weather today and last Monday it feels like we’re riding on the wrong day!

Anyhow, the weather’s looking reasonable tomorrow, so I plan to ride. HIADS at 10 and the Spring Centre around 10.30 then on to Woodmancote.

    Hope to see you there,

    Andy

The weather is looking poor for tomorrow, so I suggest we defer for a week to 8th March.

Weather’s not looking too bad, so I’ll be at HIADS at 10 and The Spring about 10.30.
