ParticipantHi, I also have just recovered from a cough and cold plus I haven’t cycled in awhile (and with this group since before lockdown), so don’t know how I will get on! However, I would like to join you even If I have to drop out at some point and return home.
I will meet you at HIADS AT 10:00 tomorrow.
Cheers Sylvia

ParticipantWould have liked to have joined you but I am currently on my own cycling adventure. I have just cycled from Hayling to my son’s at Kidderminster (approx 170 miles). 2 overnight stops. On Monday I set off for Banbury then Aylesbury (other son), then to my nephew at Finchampstead and finally home. So I will have done about 360 miles. First time I have done a cycling holiday. It was my 7 decades challenge and post heart surgery so feeling pretty chuffed. Enjoy your cycle ride and hopefully will join you next time.

ParticipantHi Andy, thanks for organizing the cycle ride. My first time out and I thoroughly enjoyed it, also thank you to the other cyclist in the group for making me so welcome. I will work on my gear changing to get up those hills quicker!

ParticipantHi Andy, thanks for copying me on this cycle ride. I have just googled the route and if you do the Chidham link in total from HI I think it will be about 32 miles on mostly flat terrain. Is that what you make it? The most I have cycled recently is about 25 miles to Bishops Waltham – very hilly! Are you all very fast cos I don’t think I will be able to keep up with you?
Cheers Sylvia
