Longer walks programme for 2019

I have published a programme of longer walks for 2019. Like the main walks and the ambles, these are open to all members. Let me know if you'd like to be included in the walking group's email list.

The science and applications of DNA

The next meeting of the Science and Technology Group will be held at 2.30 pm in St Patricks Church Hall on Wednesday 27th March.

Bob Hornby will make a short introductory presentation and lead a group discussion on the Science and Applications of DNA. All members of the Hayling Island U3A are welcome to attend with refreshments served at the start of the meeting. Visitors are charged £2 towards cost of Hall hire.

Vacancies in the Croquet group

The croquet group will start playing again in April (subject to weather) and there are currently four vacancies available.

New wine appreciation group

The new group is currently full, but if you are interested, please contact Norma Downs.

Brighton Pavilion visit

There are still some places available for this trip to Brighton, cost £20 per person (excluding entrance charges).
