Winchester- bishops, buildings but no bones

This is the third - and last - of Andrew Negus' Winchester trilogy that brings us right up to date. You might remember Andrew's previous presentations to us were both entertaining and interesting, so we're in for a treat next Thursday, 20th April.

Secrets of staying sharp in later life

The U3A Trust presents this lecture in association with the European Alliance for the Brain on Wednesday June 7th at the Wellcome Lecture Theatre in London. Tickets cost £17 each. Click here for more details and a booking form.

Spring newsletter available online

Click here to see the Spring edition of the Hayling Island U3A newsletter. You can read it online (and benefit from features like active internet links and resizeable text)or download a copy to print.

If you missed the Christmas newsletter, you can use the same link to see back copies of the newsletter, too.

You will need your username and password. Your username is log in to the members' area to see your user id. No-one can tell you your password but, if you have forgotten yours, you can get a new one; click here to find out how.

If you haven't opted out from the printed newsletter, your copy will be available to pick up at Thursday's meeting. That will save us having to send it to your home.

How to: opt out from the printed newsletter

Thank you to everyone that has opted out from the printed newsletter. You are saving us money, and reducing the work needed from our volunteers.

If you haven't done so already, you too can opt out from the printed newsletter. Click here or go to the web site and click 'Newsletter' under the 'News & articles' menu. If you are logged in to the members' area you will see a simple form to opt out; otherwise, you will see a link to log in and reveal the opt out form.

Alternatively, let me know and I will opt out on behalf of your household.

We send this email on the week-end before each monthly meeting. If you have something you'd like to include please let me know.
