Web site update

Andy Henderson has been working on changing our website host to ensure that we get the level of service we need. Please note the following change:

  • Old website address: haylingu3a.org.uk
  • New website address: haylingu3a.org

Your username and password for the site have not changed. All email addresses ending @haylingu3a.org.uk have also changed to @haylingu3a.org.

Car Parking – Car Share

As you know, car parking at the Community Centre is always at a premium and it has become a problem for many clubs and societies that use the centre. All users of the centre have been asked to consider car sharing as much as possible to alleviate some of the problems. Please consider whether you would be able to car share for our activities, particularly the monthly meetings.

Car Parking – Barley Mow

As you may remember, we have had an agreement from the Barley Mow allowing our members to use their car park when we have our monthly meetings. We understand that they are installing number plate recognition cameras to their car park and that customers must register their number plates when they enter pub. This is due to start at the beginning of March.
Our agreement with the pub still holds regarding parking, so if you park there, you must register your number plate in the pub before going to our meeting.

Membership Subscriptions

Subscriptions are due at the end of March. Member renewal is £10 and associate renewal is £7. We will be setting up tables at the March and April monthly meetings to take your payments by card, cheque, or cash. If you would like to volunteer to help at the membership desk, then let Peter Haskell know.

In the meantime, you can avoid the queues by paying online here.

Visit to Kew Gardens on 27th April 2022

Due to the interest in this visit we have decided to hire a slightly larger coach, so there may still be places available. Please go to the visit page to register your interest. The cost of the trip is £37.

To check we've received your payment and confirmed your booking, please log in and go to the visit page to see the status of your booking.

Ideas for celebrating the Jubilee

Do you have ideas for how our u3a should celebrate the Jubilee this year? Send your thoughts to me. Thanks.
