The flying boats to the end of the empire and back
Thursday's monthly meeting explores the history of the flying boat. You have the choice of attending in person or joining via Zoom. More details including start times here.
We are still limited to 80 people in the main hall, but it's not expected we'll exceed that so there's no need to book.
You can use this link if you want to join via Zoom.
Open day web page
Hopefully you already know our open day is on 16th September. We've created a web page for the event at haylingu3a.org/openday.
Please consider letting friends know about the event and refer them to the web page for details, if that's appropriate.
Can you help?
For the open day we need:
- A parking marshal organiser
- Parking marshals to help manage the Community Centre car park
- A 'meeters and greeters' organiser
- 'Meeters and greeters' to welcome visitors to the different locations
- A beach clean organiser
If you think you can help or you want to know more, please contact Julie and Anne.
We're also looking for a co-chair to replace Anne at the next AGM.
Bournemouth air festival
We are taking bookings for a trip to the Bournemouth Air Festival on 3rd September. £30 pays for the coach to Bournemouth and a three course meal in the evening.
You can find out more about the day, and book your place here.
We are also taking bookings and payments (cash, cheque and card) at Thursday's meeting.
Last chance for subscription renewal
Thursday's meeting is your last live meeting opportunity to renew your membership, if you haven't already done so, before it will lapse.
You can also renew - and find out if you have already renewed - here.
