We meet on the morning of the 3rd Friday of each month and take it in turn to choose an historical subject, research it and prepare a talk on it. We have to admit that the research sometimes only extends as far as printing and reading out a piece from History Reclaimed! Recent topics have included The History of Slavery, Rorke's Drift, Thor Heyerdahl, Margaret Thatcher, the Zinoviev Letter, the Portsmouth Forts and the Battle of Trafalgar.
