The weather for Tuesday is looking a little dodgy, so not the best day to organise a long ride – Chichester in August?

Instead, as:

• the Tipner Lake cycle has recently re-opened after works
• the planned closure of the Farlington Marshes cycle path has been delayed…

… I suggest a trip around Portsea. If we stop for elevenses at Portsmouth Hot Walls, you’ll have the choice of continuing round the island or going straight back across the Hayling ferry.

If that’s OK, we’d meet at the Hayling ferry to catch/meet the 10.35 sailing from Hayling.
