How about a ’round Langstone harbour’ ride, starting at HIADS, over the ferry, up the east side of Portsea, over the top through Farlington Marshes and stopping to try the superb cakeage at the Langbrook before returning through Hayling?
The twist is that we would use Eastern Road as little as possible! I reckon we can stick to quiet roads and only resort to Eastern Road to cross the bridge at the north end (and we could avoid even that if you’re prepared for a bit of ‘rough stuff’).
We’d leave HIADS at 10:00 to catch the 10:30 ferry.
What do you think?
Next month I’m hoping for warmer weather and an option to go somewhere greener.
