Meet at the Community Centre car park to car share at 9.15am and then on to West Meon. Parking is best in Church Lane some 250 yards northwest past the church where the lane widens at the foot of the slope. Post code GU32 1LE (see map above).
The walk will start from the West Meon Church (SU640241) at around 10am. We go through the churchyard, past the 'table top' tomb of Thomas Lord, then across fields to the snowdrops at Warnford Park, returning by the Meon Valley Trail along a disused railway. There is a stretch of road/verge walking so bring a Hi Vis top if you wish and in a few places the fields are greasy- a stick may help.
Lunch can be taken at the West Meon Hut pub at the junction of the A32 and the A272 (see map above). The offer at the moment on Mondays is 6 Classic meals for £6.
