We encourage members to present short programmes of recorded music of their own choosing with commentary on the music, composers and/or performers. Each monthly meeting is in two parts with refreshment in between. A meeting can thus accommodate two short programmes or one longer one.
Programmes are often a mixture of music which reflect the presenters life ("Desert Island Discs"), or works of a favourite composer, or of the same type - choral, form, musical instrument, or on a subject - water, immigration, etc. They range from classical music, to popular, jazz, and traditional music of other countries.
