Meals out

We'll arrange to dine out together for both evening meals and lunch.

Evening dining

We will normally meet at a local restaurant (currently Mogul in Elm Grove) at 6pm on the third Wednesday of each month. We contact members by email before the date to confirm the venue. We will require your confirmation, if attending, at least a week before the meal for a restaurant booking to be made. No upfront deposit is required but members will be required to pay the restaurant for their own meal on the evening. Current cost for meal including small gratuity of £1 but excluding drinks is £15.50.

Lunchtime dining

We will normally meet at a local café/restaurant (currently Mad Hatters) each month on a date to coincide with the monthly film at HIADS. We will contact members by email in advance to confirm the time, date and venue of the meal and title of the HIADS production. We will require your confirmation, if attending, at least a week before the meal for a restaurant booking to be made. Please also refer to https://www.madhattershayling.com/menus and send the event leader your food order a week in advance. No upfront deposit is required but members will be required to pay the restaurant for their own meal at the time. It is hoped that members will take the opportunity of enjoying lunch and a cinema trip in convivial surroundings. Members will be responsible to make their own bookings with HIADS.

Car share

Please let Richard know if you need, or can offer, a lift share. He will try to match members together.
