Weather’s looking reasonably dry and a little warmer (by a few degrees only).

I’ve managed to snooker myself yet again by booking a dentist appointment for 1.30. I really must get the hang of the Android calendar! I don’t want to miss the appointment because I lost a filling recently and the gap is grumbling a bit.

So, how about a ride out to the Bumblebee cafe in Rowlands Castle? I’d probably go direct back from there but the group could decide on a longer ride if it wants.

Thanks for the heads up.

The web site is self-contradictory. This page says “Open six days a week” at the top, then “five days a week” further down. Its Facebook page says Wednesday to Sunday as does Google. Bing says Tuesday to Sunday.

All say it’s closed today so I can’t check with the cafe direct.

I’ll try Ian Hewitt. He should know. In the meantime, I’ll create a backup plan.

The Regency Tea rooms in Staunton Country Park would be a good alternative. I was going to get to Rowlands via Woodberry Lane. If the Bumblebee is shut we can continue towards Havant and use the Regency.
