This is a walk of flexible length but with a maximum of 7 miles return. Although flat it has varying terrain from pavement to pebble, sand and a shallow paddle. Appropriate footwear is beach shoes and bare feet. We meet to walk from the outer Community Centre car park at 9am to reach the southern end of the West Winner sandbank for the 10.38 low tide. We will go via the following pick up points if you wish to shorten the walk. These are at the south east corner of the golf club and Gunner Point just before we walk onto the West Winner. There is parking near the Ferryboat Inn or alternatively at the gun emplacements.
Lunch will be at the Ferryboat Inn.
