We start by walking South through the Inclosure, then turn West when we meet houses. We walk through Blackmoor village (famous for its orchards) then loop back to the cars across Blackmoor Golf Club.
It is mostly greensand underfoot so should be generally dry but there may be muddy and puddly stretches after heavy rain.
The total distance will be 4.9 miles, with only 150 feet of height gain.
There is a café by the car park serving light snacks but we might prefer to drive back to the Red Lion (Wetherspoon's) at Petersfield for lunch (postcode GU3 4AE).
