"The Red Arrows : Selection and Training" examines the origins of RAF jet aerobatic teams and the introduction and development of formation and display flying, then focuses on the selection and training of the pilots of the Red Arrows. The three years posting to the RAF Aerobatic Team that most pilots serve is arguably the most intensive, varied and challenging that they will experience during their flying careers. Most of us have had the pleasure of enjoying their displays around the UK (or overseas) – this presentation will show how they reach that level of excellence admired by their peers around the world and which makes the Red Arrows surely the best of the best.
