This is a relatively short circular walk of 3.64 miles from The Pub With No Name (The White Horse) near Priors Dean. The postcode GU32 1DA takes you directly to it.
The route is gently undulating and affords some pleasant distant views of the Hampshire countryside. There are a few rickety stiles and for the most part pathways are easy to walk although one section was overgrown with bracken.
The pub is not open on Mondays hence the proposed date of Tuesday 25th October.
It was evident on the day of my recce that there is provision for arrival by helicopter, however we will meet in the Community Centre outer car park for lift sharing and departure by 9.00am.
