Meet at the Community Centre car park at 9.15am to car share or go direct to the Bucks Head, Meonstoke, SO32 3NA (Lat. 50.98, Long 1.13). We hope to set off around 10.15.
The walk has a few ups and downs, the most strenuous up being at the start when we are all fresh. There are some muddy parts and a walking pole will be useful. There are 5 stiles. We head towards Corhampton Golf Club which we circumnavigate, then north, east, north and east again to Allens, Exton and Corhampton Farms, finally southwards passing both churches and back to sustenance.
We can eat at the Bucks Head and pre-order on arrival. the menus will be available to peruse en-route.
This is the route we took.
Note the steep downhill approaching Exton caused some difficulty as the path is narrow and difficult to traverse as it is on the side of a steep hill. There are alternate, longer routes that by-pass this section.
