We'll meet to start the walk at the junction of Roman Road and Park Lane, Twyford SO21 1QS at 10am. See map above. If you're driving it would be worth using Google Street View to spot suitable parking places. There is plenty of official on-street parking in Hazeley Road, east of its junction with the high street (SO21 1NH). From there, it's a short walk through Roman Road (gravel) to reach Park Lane.
The route is an undulating 8½ miles via Marwell Zoo and Owslebury where we'll stop for lunch at the Ship Inn. We'll be using part of the Monarch's Way.
Please let Andy know if you'd like to come and whether you can offer/will want a car share on the day. That will allow him to confirm lunch arrangements with the pub. We'll arrange car sharing in advance, so we won't be starting at the Station Road car park.
