The walk is a little over 8 miles.
We'll meet promptly at 9am in the West Town car park next to Station Road (not the Community Centre one), or else arrive in Burpham for 9.45am.
There is a free car park in Burpham behind the George pub where we'll stop for lunch (BN18 9RR).
The walk involves a bit of a climb to begin. Then we use part of The Monarch’s Way and walk through woods - during the recce it was carpeted in wood anemones - before crossing Wepham Down. Beautiful views in all directions; if it's a clear day we’ll be able to see as far as the sea.
I’ve made a provisional booking at The George. We need to arrive for lunch between 1.30pm-1.45pm. Please let me know if you’d like to lunch so that I can confirm numbers. We don’t need to let them know in advance what we want to eat.
