We'll meet at West Town Car Park at 9.15 for car share to the Deers Hut pub at Liphook postcode GU30 7PD, grid reference SU824316.
Leave the A3 at the Griggs Green sign and the pub is set back on the right 0.6 miles from joining the exit slip road. The pub sign is prominently situated near the road. If you are staying for a pub lunch, you are welcome to park in the pub car park and the pub is open early for coffee.
The walk is 4.5 miles and will start at 10 a.m. We will walk onto Weavers Down as far as Langley and return to the Deers Hut for lunch by 12.15. We'll make good use of the Shipwright's way and the Sussex border path. The going should be reasonably good underfoot throughout even if March proves to be a rainy month.
