The cost of the visit is £24 per member to cover the cost of the coach, but does not include a driver gratuity. There will be no admission fee to the Houses of Parliament.
The coach will depart from the Langstone Quays Resort, Northney Road, Hayling Island, PO11 0NQ.
There is free parking provided at this venue for those attending the tour, where vehicles can be left for the whole day without charge.
Please arrive no earlier than 7.30am, Alan Mak’s staff will be on hand to guide you from this time.
The coach will be leaving at 8am prompt. (Coach facilities include air conditioning and a toilet. Drinks/snacks can be consumed on the coach).
Once in Westminster there is a short walk to Parliament where you will enter through airport style security.
You will have time for a toilet break, and hopefully a drink at the Jubilee Café, before the tour starts just after 11am.
Following the tour and Q&A session with Alan Mak, there is time for lunch (at approx. 1.30pm) and a visit to the Gift Shop, before meeting back in Westminster Hall at 2.45pm for the walk back to the coach.
The coach departs London around 3pm and (traffic depending) arrives back at Langstone around 5:30pm.
