Dr Taylor is a former curator of the National Maritime Museum, who will help us to discover the extraordinary life and loves of Vice-Admiral Lord Nelson through period paintings, drawings and prints. Nelson was a charismatic and complex character who met his death on the deck of HMS Victory in 1805 at the age of 47. He was an inspirational leader although lampooned ashore for his relationship with Lady Emma Hamilton.
