Halnaker

4.9 to 5.6 miles

This is a beautiful circular walk around Halnaker and takes in a variety of scenery, and extensive views. There is an option to walk up to the top of Halnaker Hill where there are views of the Solent and the Isle of Wight; Goodwood; Chichester and even the wind farm off Worthing. There are two hills but gradients are relatively easy. The terrain is varied and some may be muddy so walking boots will be essential, there are also a few stiles.

Peter has reserved a table at The Anglesey Arms Halnaker (PO18 0NQ) where we will also park. Yet again it’s a bank holiday Peter would appreciate it if you let him know that you are coming and would like lunch so that I can amend numbers if necessary.

We will meet as usual at 9.00am in the outer car park of the Community Centre for car sharing and a 9.15 departure.
