Note the change of destination - a recce revealed the Farlington Marshes route was too muddy.
We’ll meet at the Station Road car park (where the toilets are) at 9.15 to car share to the Stansted garden centre car park – postcode PO9 6DX.
From there we’ll use the Monarch’s way to reach Lordington House. The recce found that the circular route from there encountered three high stiles and an area of deep mud. So we’ll stop for a break and retrace our steps back to the Pavilion Café.
Total distance is 5.5 miles.
The Pavilion is asking us to provide numbers in advance so please let Catherine know by Thursday 24th March if you want to stay for lunch.
