Meet at the Barley Mow at 9.35 and catch 31 bus at 9.43 to Havant. Catch 700 Coastliner at 10.12 to the centre of Emsworth, postcode PO10 7DX, grid reference SU749059, arriving at 10.22.
If anyone wishes to drive to Emsworth to join the walk, please be there for when the bus arrives.
This is a 3.8 mile walk with no stiles and minimal height gain.
We start with a loop taking in Brook Meadow and Slipper Millpond before heading for the Quay (toilets available on South Street). There is an opportunity to stop for a coffee at one of the South Street establishments.
We then walk along the Coast Path to the edge of the village, then return to Langstone along the beach (note: this route may not be passable at high tide).
The route is normally dry underfoot. However there may be some mud in one or two places if we have a lot more rain shortly before the walk.
Those wanting a pub lunch can stop at the Ship at Langstone before catching the bus back home.
