Meet at the Hayling Community Centre car park to car share and then on to the car park of Ye Olde George Inn at East Meon. Grid ref. SU680222 and post code GU32 1NH. The Old George is happy for us to use the car park and toilets before we start the walk.
The walk takes us away from East Meon with wonderful views of the South Downs. There are two inclines and only two stiles. Strong walking boots and a walking stick are recommended as part of the walk involves an uneven surface with some loose flint stones. The walk will take approx. 2½ hours.
Lunch can be taken at the George and we can order before the walk commences.
