Meet at West Town Car Park for car share to Liss, leaving at 9.15.
Park at the Spread Eagle, Liss postcode GU33 6JU, grid reference SU772285 for walk start at 10 a.m. We should be able to leave pre-orders for lunch with the pub before we set off.
We take a footpath south as far as Liss station then turn north-east along trackbed of the old railway towards Bordon. This route goes alongside the infant River Rother for a while and is a local nature reserve.
Our halfway point is at the entrance to the military training area of Longmoor Inclosure and there is a handy log we can sit on to recharge our batteries with any hot or cold drink we have brought along.
Our return route goes down to the London-Portsmouth railway line and then turns and crosses over our outward route.
Lunch is booked at the pub for 12.30.

The total distance is 3.9 miles with only 100 feet of height gain and no stiles.
