We'll meet at the car park at Hayling Island Community Centre to car share leaving at 9.15am. We'll go to Catherington, parking at The Farmers Inn, ref. SU695144, postcode PO8 0TD. The most direct route is via Junction 2 of the A3. See map above for more detail.
We'll aim to set off from the Pub at about 10a.m. The walk is surprisingly rural so close to civilization and is over rolling country. From the pub we go west over Catherington Down towards Denmead, turning south to Hinton Daubnay. We then turn southeast onto the Monarch's Way to The Bird in Hand Lovedean, where we can buy coffee. We then take Coldhill Lane eastwards to Five Heads Road turning north onto the footpath to Catherington Church and back to The Farmers Inn.
