Bournemouth Christmas Market
At the U3A June monthly meeting a show of hands indicated a low interest in the proposed visit to the Christmas Market at Bristol which was combined with a visit to Brunel’s SS Great Britain.
As a result the venue has been altered to the Christmas Market at Bournemouth. This has a number of advantages.
First, a shorter journey time which means departure from HIADS at 9am.
Second, the market is located in the middle of Bournemouth’s shopping centre. This means restaurants, cafes etc are all within easy walking distance.
Third, going by coach is an ideal way to visit Bournemouth as it is a nightmare for car drivers looking for parking spaces.
