Cancelled: 1200 mile stroll to Santiago

As we expect a poor turnout for the meeting due to Coronavirus, we have cancelled this meeting.

Valerie Archibald was introduced to the pleasure of hill walking by her father. She studied French and Spanish at university, and then qualified as a chartered accountant. Latterly she specialised in explaining central government finance, and has taught Theresa May.

She enjoys the challenge of multi-day linear routes and has walked 8 of the British National Trails. In 2014 she almost reached Everest Base Camp, but was forced to turn back at 16000 feet because of breathing problems. She has completed the tour of Mont Blanc, the Haute Route, the Corfu Trail and the Inca Trail.
