These notes describe what I've done to build the Hayling Island U3A web site. They serve as a reminder to me and provide some hints should someone have to take over development.
I assume knowledge of PHP, MySQL and WordPress. I found the information at wordpress.org (as opposed to wordpress.com) very useful during the development and, in particular the codex at codex.wordpress.org.
The notes appear only to U3A web site administrators.
