KeymasterUnfortunately, next Tuesday – 4th December – clashes with the Portsmouth CTC Christmas lunch, so I won’t be able to lead on that day. I’m still impressed Carol spotted the potential before I did!
As last year, we have a couple of choices:
- Continue with the ride as planned but with a different leader
- Postpone until the following Tuesday, 11th December
Please let me know what you think.
Looking at the weather, the issue might be academic! I was thinking about a quick visit to the Hot Walls with the possibility, for those that feel the need, to do some shopping in Portsmouth but whoever leads decides.
Without any prompting from me, the PCTC committee decided to try to put next year’s lunch back a week so it might not be an issue for 2019.

ParticipantHi Andy
We are happy to postpone until the 11th. The Forecsat for next Tuesday at the moment looks damp, but it is still early days and all could change. A short morning ride to Hot Walls would good.

KeymasterWeather’s looking reasonable for tomorrow (Tuesday) so we’re on. The ferry is on its winter timetable so we will meet at the Hayling side of the ferry to catch the 9.45 sailing or the Portsmouth side 10 minutes, or so, later.
