      Once again Andy is not able to lead a ride on Tuesday 1st September. I know some of us are away or otherwise occupied so I am offering three options:

      1. An Isle of Wight ride of about 25 miles using the Red Squirrel Trail. We would catch the 9.35 Hayling Ferry then the Fishbourne Ferry at 11.20 and return on the Ryde to Portsmouth fastcat at 4.45 or earlier.

      2. A ride to Itchenor returning via Ferry to Bosham and The Spring

      3. A shorter option eg The Crate at Bosham

      The weather forecast for Tuesday is looking favourable. Can you let me know your preference so that I can make a decision by the end of tomorrow

      I am happy to do any of these with a marginal preference for ride No 2 above.

      Very happy to go with the majourity choice.

      Good morning Peter, I don’t think I can do the ride this time. I have hurt my knee. Possibly practicing with a different bike!

      sorry l cannot join you for a cycle ride lve been told by physio to rest my knee which has given way on me .
