Along the way he will introduce Saints Birinus and Swithun, King Alfred, Canute and most exciting of all the irrepressible Quenn Emma. Then several crafty bishops who promoted Winchester’s collection of bones into a profitable business. Built two abbeys and two minsters and the longest cathedral in the world.
Andrew is a retired history teacher, a blue badge guide for central southern England. He is a recognised historian who gives so interesting talks about our local cities. He also keeps chickens, bees and daughters.
