Some more progress...
I've:
- Added details of more groups
- Added an initial version of the 'Visits' page and associated events
- Completed the 'Other U3As' page
- Added the following 'How to' documents in the members' area:
- How to: Add news and articles
- How to: Update group members and editors
- How to: Add and update group details
- How to: Update your profile
- How to: Add meetings and events
- How to: Change web site pages
- How to: Keep members in touch
- Added the accident report form
- Added the 'U3A and you' Frequently Asked Questions document referred to in the guidance for group leaders and members
- Added a 'Why don't I get U3A emails' document to help address the issues that will inevitably arise
- Created a set of developer notes
- Created an initial HIU3A news item announcing the two new groups
- Spoken to Wilf Forrow and he's agreed to be a backup site editor/developer; Wilf is a HIU3A member and has WordPress and developer expertise
Still to do:
- Complete capture of the remaining members into the web site (Bryan and I are trying to set a time to do that)
- Capture available member lists for the groups
- Add the remaining groups (using very brief detail if necessary)
- Add final pages:
- History (Paul Chapman)
- How to: Start a new group (Sue Humphries)
- Add some additional news items using material supplied by Maura
- Add a mechanism to allow people to join as affiliates (under discussion with Bryan)
