Meet to Knit, Crochet and chat,

We learn new techniques and ways to develop card making skills. At each session everyone will produce a card that they take home with them. All materials (paper, card, glues, embellishments, ribbons, die cutting and embossing machines etc.) are supplied. The cost is £2.50 per session to cover the cost of materials and refreshments.

Note that the meeting will usually be the second Tuesday of each month but - as it's the day before the second Wednesday - it will occasionally be the first Tuesday of the month.

We're a friendly group that meets to knit and chat. We have a big library of knitting patterns and help each other decide what to knit and explore different knitting techniques.

If someone goes wrong, we try to help them out.

We occasionally undertake projects such as knitting squares or - for the Hayling Island U3A World War 1 presentation - knitting items 'for the boys at the front' in the original styles.

We charge 50p per session to cover refreshments.
